Blue Queen was founded by a group of independent filmmakers, freelance artists, and professional translators with expertise in both international cultural communication and film, TV and other media productions. After its foundation in 2002, it has supported and collaborated with filmmakers, critics, media educators, professional translators, as well as designers of multimedia and new media projects. Our goal is to promote culture-related ideas and products, to help artists outside the mainstreams to be recognized, and to find audiences for valuable artistic productions. One of Blue Queen’s recent objectives is to introduce independent film/video works from Chinese-language circles to international festivals.
